Das klingt auch schon wieder so gut, dass es schade ist, solche Ausstellungen nicht besuchen zu können. Fast immer ist alles viel zu weit weg.

What a fascinating exhibition and a beautiful example of how art can transform something as familiar as a vessel into a meditation on material, history, and time.

I particularly like the idea of Prettauer copper carrying its own story—from its origin and extraction to the artist’s hands and the marks left by the process of transformation. The contrast between heaviness and lightness, strength and flexibility, makes the work even more intriguing.
